As February has ended, you might have been happy because everyone got chocolates for 50% off on February 15 or maybe you are one of those people who are happy that there are only 28 days in this month and that summer is only four months away now. During the beginning of this month; many people believe that before the 14th of February they should find themselves a date so that they can express their love too them. If they do not they will not find a date by the 14th their snapchat story will be dry and not cool. Like some every intellectual person had said, valentines day is also known as single awareness day.  I really do not care about this because I for one do not believe in love but rather believe in a relationship that benefits both parties. Valentine’s day has become a business opportunity. Just think about it, couples in Hollywood or famous people usually date or marry each other but break-up quickly which could result in both people losing a lot of money. One might believe that love is the definition of life or the fact that without love one is lonely but I feel as if instead of love one needs care and happiness. I

have noticed that especially for teens there is no love factor. One might have a crush on someone but falling in love and living together forever is just a step I believe has no point.  There is nothing called love, it is just made up and is a type of standard people think they should follow. I personally never care about love or any of that. People ask me what I love and all I tell them is money and buying myself things I want because it is something I really desire. Dating people is different because people date each other because they like each other’s external features. Love is over-rated and it has no purpose in my life. Instead of going on a date, I can go chill with my friends or do something else which is fun. I have personally never dated anyone and do not plan on doing so because all I plan on doing is go getting me some money.

  1. Dear Maheer,

This piece is a very intricate way of revealing your emotions about Valentine’s day and about how you talk about love as not really need in teens.

To be honest, I do believe going over just capitalization on a few sentences and maybe a bigger expansion on your idea of love will make this a better explanation or even just a better story to indulge into.

Besides all of this, you are quite exceptional in your own opinion and I do believe to read again.

    Sincerely,
    Melody

  2. Dear Melody,
Thanks for reading my post and was glad that you liked where I was coming from regarding love. I was also happy to read your opinion especially because you are a firm believer of love. I have understood my mistakes and tend to start to read over them every time I have completed a post.
    Sincerely,
    Maheer

  3. Dear Maheer,
I totally agree on your idea on love and Valentines Day, it’s crazy how we feel so similar on this subject! I loved the subject matter of this post due to how closely I can relate to it.

Just some advice would be to watch the grammar and capitalization, some sentences were missing commas and some needed commas. Some sentences needed capital letter removed or added. Besides the grammar, great post!

    Sincerely,
    Akaash

    1. Dear Akaash,
Due to the fact that we are best friends I believe we would have the same opinions. After you pointed out my grammar mistakes I was able to catch the mistakes that you were talking about and from now on I will to read over my work for any grammar mistakes.
      sincerely,
      Maheer
